About Us

At the UTS Mathematics Society, we all love maths. The maths society was created in 2025 by a mix of students and working mathematicians whos interests intersect theoretical computer science and pure maths. The goal of the maths society is to create a friendly and positive culture where harder topics in maths can be explored to their full extent. We aim to host talks, invite students along to the current faculty led talks (Groups Analysis and Geometry Seminars), to host friendly events, and to host regular study sessions.
